We wish to officially inform all MSC Malaysia-status companies about the decision made by the Board of Directors of Multimedia Development Corporation Sdn Bhd (MDeC) to transfer the expatriate services currently provided by Facilitation Department of MSC Management Services Sdn Bhd (MSCMS) to its parent company, Multimedia Development Corporation Sdn Bhd (MDeC).

This restructuring is in line with the Government of Malaysia's intention to provide a seamless expatriate services to MSC Malaysia-status companies through the setting up of a One-Stop-Service-Centre in Cyberjaya soon.

Therefore, we wish to advise all MSC Malaysia-status companies that effective 1st January, 2008, all transactions with regards to applications for hiring of foreign knowledge workers and expatriate services are to be addressed to Multimedia Development Corporation Sdn Bhd (MDeC) and all corresponding fees for the provision of these services which are currently paid to MSC Management Services Sdn Bhd (MSCMS) are to be made payable to Multimedia Development Corporation Sdn Bhd (MDeC). For payments via bank transactions, our Malayan Banking Berhad account no. is 512446203018 (014329 317945)

All previous agreements on expatriate services between MSC Malaysia-status companies and MSC Management Services Sdn Bhd (MSCMS) will be carried forward and undertaken by Multimedia Development Corporation Sdn Bhd (MDeC).
